Hyabusa engine lifespan?
#5
G'day Guys,

The life span of a Busa is as long as a piece of string. Any motor is the same. Treat it well and it will look after you, abuse it, then be open with your wallet.

If a busa was run in well, serviced as required and a good quality oil used, then it should last to say 200,000 km. The biggest killer of motors is too much RPM before they reach operating temp.

One other item of interest, do service the air filter as the ram air pickups all sorts of crap. This will only help in the long run.
