It overheated !

The fan on a VTR I owned blew fuses all the time, mainly due to crap Honda design. Its on the inside of one of those side mount radiators, just where the front tyre throws up stones, twigs, assorted crud. It only tried to turn on occasionally but when it did the housing had enough stuff in it to stop the fan & blow the fuse. Now paranoid I always listen for the fan to come on in traffic.
