G'day Ohzone, sounds like your progressing well by just the sound of your attitude - keep it up man !! ... (& that too for the Mrs.)
Personally, next week will be the 1 year anniversery of my accident, and havent regretted it, or blamed anyone for the accident .... Positive Pete is what they call me .... SHIT HAPPENS, and really only 1 thing that can be noted as to why I'm still here, not para or quadraplegic, and looking fitter than before .... The 1 thing is .... I WORE A BACK PROTECTOR, and the right gear for the conditions (bitterly cold that day so rugged up, but always draggin jeans at least and Dainese jacket with full protection! (Not being critical of anyone, but it would like riding our bike without a helmet - 1 knock and your gone usually, unfortunately your Back is the same, but not recognised as much for unknown reasons?!
My brace (your Jaws ) is different I realise now. I couldn't have anything that sat on or rested against my pelvis like you, cause I samshed my pelvis open 5 inches wide at front! Took 36 hours to pull back together (LOVE THAT MORPHENE), and now I'm built like a new bike (Titanium & Stainless Steel plates and screws)
Mate, I'm cruising across to Perth in November for the Red Bull Sky Air Races around the Swan River, so I might be able to pop in and say hello, since I'll be driving. Keep at it, and lap up the nurse treatment .... it don't last !!!! (unless you got bathed by 4 nurses like me once! )
