Just messaged him and he said he doesn't think so.
I suggested to him that he just catches up with you guys for a days ride.....see what happens.

Sounds like a plan, let him know if he wants to come but can't make the whole weekend I can I accommodate so no issues there.

Otherwise would be great of he can catch up for a ride on one of the days.
