Chain wax? Need some advice

I bought a couple of these a while back. The gap is too narrow for our chains, but one side clicks off and the right angle is still useful. Probably worth the price!



I wondered about the size, not knowing about them clicking apart, I had already considered doing a hacksaw job on it......
Worse scenario is I'll use the other end to get the bugs out of the air intake meshes....lol
