While i can see its attraction i am not a big fan of an external filter , its cheap and effective, but can get kinked fuel hoses and higher fuel temps, and if any of the adaption is not good enough quality, potentially a big fuel leak at speed
and may influence resale , as long as anyone doing it understands the potential advantages and disadvantages , thats fine, it doesn't necessarily suit everyone though
you should see all the troubleshooting i have done on turbo with external fuel systems in the last 12 yrs , biggest single issue is kinked fuel line , and they are worse than just adding a filter i can still see guys with limited experiance getting themselves in trouble .
