Best mod you will do is a decent exhaust system. Then the bus sounds how it's supposed to be.
Cheapest and most effective mod is the sponge grip changeover. You'll never look back.

If inexperienced the Bus does things so easily you can easily get in over your head round corners etc.
Take your time to get used to your new machine and after a few months you will be a raving fanatic like the rest of us.
Just because the bike can do over 300kph does not mean you have to do that!
You can have lots of fun on this bike and keep within the road rules and have your license for many years.
For instance they are such a fun smooth consistent cornering machine, accurate like a knife.

Oh yeah the blue LED mod is another ripper.
Around 20 bucks all up from Jaycar.
No drills, just stick it under your bottom fairing, run the wires up to battery earth and other power from rear tail light wire and you're all ready for Lygon Street..
