Damned if you do, damned if you don't. I see this topic come up year after year always with the same result.
It makes no difference what time of year you make it, there will always be an excuse as to why members can't come.
Reality is, as long as I've ever known, the 1st weekend of December is the Busa Bash. I can pretty much schedule that in for the rest of my life with work and the wife. The only real excuse is..... I didn't want to.
I've only ever been once...and had a friggin ball with some awesome people that seriously made me feel like I was part of one massive extended family. And I will without a doubt go again....when I want to.
Don't make it a vote, just state when and where. Show some leadership and let those willing to follow......follow!
