I would only add that its probably best to do a test before doing your really long distance ride just to see what areas need improving like seat, bars, tank bag, helmet/ gear etc..
If you do an overnighter write down what you think you've forgotten and also what you took that you didn't need or use.
I'd certainly be doing a decent test ride prior to the big ride though, proper prior preparation prevents piss poor performance.
As mentioned, I'd invest in an Airhawk for the seat.
