The more $$$$ you spend the better quality helmet you will get BUT as Kendo says it has to fit your head properly. My bulbous head means a lot of helmets don't fit properly, including the expensive good brands.

You can start by using this site for comparisons....

Some people say the sites crap but I found it a good starting point
