Side stand is up and I am sitting on it when trying to start in gear, (also clutch in)
I have been starting it this way (in gear) and the normal way (in neutral) for a good 4 years.
I have only just recently noticed it doesn't spin over a fast as it use to when in neutral.
Never had any issues starting in gear either, got a brand new battery just last week, and first time I went to start it in gear it failed.
By that I mean it cranks over maybe one or two times and stops, just as it would if the battery is flat.
Battery is good 180 cca and voltage is good 12.9v.
Just a bit lost as to what it could be.
Any more information is greatly appreciated.
