Brrrr. Cold start issue

Hmmm What part of the country are you in shifu? What was the air temperature in your garage? It might make a significant difference. Out under the back landing where my bike is in brisbane it was about 9 degrees. I agree modern engines "shouldn't do it" but that doesn't mean the busa doesn't have a design issue where it does.

I am in Adelaide and last night we had 5 deg which is about average for this time of the year. The garage has reverse cycle airconditioning but I do not use it so I guess it will be similar temperature inside as it is outside. However the thing I always do is keeping the tank full so there is minimum water condensation in it. Adding a bit of fuel stabiliser can probably help as well. I think we can all agree that busa's engine is one of the better ones, but keeping it properly tuned/adjusted often can take some effort.
