Thanks for the thoughts and offers of support
No power here yet, generator is keeping the fridge cool and a few extras, but the computer is low on priorities
And the phone is running so hot with offers of help its just about flat more often than charged
Still finishing up the post fire basics like removing dangerous trees, there falling still a few a day, but were many an hour initially and my drive is lined with them, and even the road into town is still closed due to the danger, but as there are no fences left we just drive through the paddocks
my road busa has the front wheel and forks gone, but the rest is surprisingly good, i have no insurance on the bikes, and figure i can probably fix the busa without too much trouble,
race 750 is further gone i hope to be able to reclaim some internal motor parts 1/2 a turbo system and the rear end
The race busa is good except the bodywork was not on it , so development starts again there and the alternate bike my triumph tiger is untouched
House and closest shed are good too, which was surprising, i was fighting the fire for several hours before i knew i had to go home and quickly pack to leave , 10 mins after i got there the fire hit , the missus went to a neighbours in the irrigation area and i waited it out in a bare area , coming back to the house after the front passed
so now just waiting on the insurance assessor for the farm buildings, machinery and stored grain before we can start the cleanup and rebuild
