There IS a regional airport at Merimbula (just south of Tathra), and I'm fairly certain they (not sure which actual airline flies out of here?) fly to and from Melbourne (Avalon?).
The missus can fly in comfort, you get to fly low & solo to enjoy the ride to and from the bash.....everyone's a winner!!!!
But good idea to check out Vic regional airlines... Are there any still operating?
