Protection?

There's bugger all difference in protection between jeans and shorts. First bounce and they're torn to bits.
Where I live there is bugger all traffic. In the hot weather I wear the minimum if I'm cruising and not hooning. But do cover up, more for sun protection than worrying about coming off.
If I'm planning on going hard, it's full leathers and armour - but still haven't even had a near off in the last 15 years. - Must be going soft!

You are right Ward but in all honesty there is little difference between shorts, jeans and draggin jeans. Every weekend someone comes off on the Oxley and even on the slow corners the people wearing draggin jeans wish they had been wearing leathers.
