You will definitely benefit from getting rid of the OEM exhaust system in terms of weight saving and a few extra horses. That is providing that you do a proper tuneup on Dyno after. (make sure your air filter is clean before that). I am not sure if it is a good idea to mix exhaust components from different manufacturers though.
The downside is like is says above - removing cat is not exactly legal (but still goof fun)
