My first Bike? I can remember my first woman more clearly; 'As you do"; but no-one on this site would have heard of the bike (or her hopefully)
A 2nd hand 15 pound ($30) 1952 BSA Bantam 125cc;
OK, a hundred years on it's been recently 1100XX, R1 Trackie, CBR1000RR and now a Gen2 Bus as a retirement machine.
Your first bike is brain locked for nostalgic reasons only.
My elderly mates, some former A graders, now old farts like me, love the old bikes.
British oil leaking heaps of shyte the lot of them.
Even the early Ducati's (albeit a huge leap forward) with no lights splitting mudguards and timing side main bearings flogging out before 5K.
Give me modern technology every time.
