Did a few more hot runs up and down the Oxley on the k6 1000 last weekend. Experimented further with cold tyre pressures and found 29 front and 28 rear to provide the best grip. This produced 34/34 hot pressures and about the same lateral/knee down grip as the power 2cts. Only downside was the rear being a little squirmy in the first few bends. If I ever run power 3s on the gen 2 I think 34 front and 32 rear would be my starting point for hot mountain blasts. Overall they probably are a better option than the power 2ct simply because they last heaps longer and are almost on par grip wise but the feedback through the bike does not feel as precise. Hope this makes sense, Paul.
