biggest prob is heat .
i wouldnt say its made it run cooler but it help my legs from being cooked from hot air,it also insulated the exhaust and made it a whole lot quieter ,so i can actually hear the injectors working and not the roar of the exhaust ,there are benefits ,like lowering the out let temp for fuel efc or some shit ,like that ,i did the same to my old 1100w ,

Header wraps are designed to keep the heat in the header to improve scavenging of the cylinders. Keeping the heat in the header allows the exhaust speed to remain high. (the right idea)
