I'm sticking with the Pilot Power 3's for a while - Corpse I do an average of 800k's per week and have done almost 12,000k's on my current set.
The Michelins are def. worth looking at.
12k out of Power 3's - Not Road 3's ? Just asking coz i'm putting on new rubber this week & was looking at Road 3 or Sportsmarts.
If you can get those sort of k's out of the Powers i'll def consider those also.
- going outside to double check......yep 'power 3's'...and back is almost shagged.
I think the centres of the Power & Road maybe the same compound.
Normaly on the Bridgestones the rear is shagged after 6000, but the Michelins have held up VERY well.
Be aware though that the Pilot's centres are QUITE hard....more so than I've had with any other tyre in a long time, but I have no probs with grip.
I get to do alot of 300+km/h runs (like 5 per week....even in the wet), and I've been damn impressed with the powers on all levels.
Only thing I don't like is the profile is a bit tall for the set-up of my Busa and it can be a little twitchy.......but turn in is amazing!!!!!!
Thanks for that mate - will check em out.
