Thanks for the info, Have tried heaps of tyres and kept going back to the PP2cts. Can't wait to see if the 3s are even better as the sales hype suggests. Usually run the PP2cts on the gen 2 as well but rear tyre life is bugger all. I am running the 190/55s as well, however eventually want to try a 180/55 sports tyre on the rear of the 1000. This is common practice now with the fellows racing litre bikes at Jurby on the Isle of Mann. They state that their lap times are the same on the 180s. I am no racer but it will be interesting to see if i can notice any difference. Have a blast, Paul.
