Just wondering as I look @ the planned route (& I am sure this has been checked) but is the Boulia to Isa road all bitumen these days?
Zrex1200 think it is , never ridden on it , lot of road trains and 4wd travel on it and they wouldnt get off the for a bike ,would be like the old road from isa to cammooweal if you ridden or driven across that to border and back. would watch speed on it just in case you come across traffic.
