Apparently the engine frees up around 60k mark.I think from my experience with gsxr1000s the last one did 30k in 1 year , nothing went wrong.changed tyrres and oil.cleaned chain with kerosene. Did not even adjust it androde it like I stole it ( seriously wrung its neck) all it had was a slash cut hot bodies exhaust. As my mech said only was to break these bikes is to crash them. I think the bus a is a long term keeper hence the reason i bought one.
