Was the silver blue Hyundai Accent that caused it. The older lady was driving back from up north seeing grand kids, and admitted not remembering, she drifted off and crossed lanes. I was behind a Nissan Patrol which blocked (thankfully) my full view but she veered into the path of the Volvo, there were bits of car flying through the air. We all stopped and helped. We disconnected the battery from the accent as the motor was smashed open, oil coolant and some fuel was all over the road. The lady was trapped and in shock but not too seriously injured. Both cars sustained massive damage, the debris covered more than 70 metres and included smashed but complete wheels, suspension coils and struts, chunks of engine and metal and glass everywhere.
Was there for about an hr and a bit, the highway had to be closed both ways because they landed the helicopter on the road to take the old lady to hospital, the couple from the Volvo had insure treatment, they were still there when I left......
Can't wait to wash the bike LOL and get some of my pictures onto the laptop. Again, truly great w/e, thanks to all ;)
