Thanks fellas for the good information - I've learned a lot!
Took the punt (for better or worse) and tracked down the Arashi option. Bought fronts and rear for $227 including postage from Mad Hornets (www.madhornets.com). Fast response and service. Let's see what I end up with!
I really do believe that you get what you pay for and I have no doubt that there are far better products. It just nags at me that, sometimes, it's going to be the same (Chinese) product re-packaged and re-priced by some arsehole middle man. This is what I can afford at the moment......
