They are all out there flat out raising revenue to cover their huge pay rises !! Big Ted should have taken a page out of old Henry Bolte's industrial relations black book when he told the teachers union "they can march up & down till they're blue in the face, no pay rises here" !!!!!!!!!

Come on Rev... Your talking about the folk that have to sieve though your bodily fluids when there is an accident, they're the guys people call for help with domestic violence, the people you call for help. Do they sting us when we are doing stupid shit? Sure they do. Are there some mongrels amongst them? Absolutely, but that, my good friend, is a shit job and I recon they don't get paid nearly enough. If my kids need the cops one day, I want to know that they are commited and focused. That can only come when they receive a rate of pay that is relative to the tasks that they are expected to perform at the highest standard. Same for the nurses.

Big Ted needs to have his head read. Giving money to the bloody arts community and running a pointless surplus whilst screwing the folks that keep Victoria moving.. What that arse is doing to the public education and health system is beyond reproach. Giving the coppers unrealistic quotas to fulfill to cover the lack of restraint.
