By killing the ecu for a split second it allows for the gears to change with out touching the clutch lever, good for drags / track for super fast gear changes with out backing off the throttle or pulling the clutch in

I can understand how a quickshifter works on the gear lever. Piston moves forward or back depending on which button you push. But how does the system integrate into the clutch?
