Thanks for the replies fellas. I'd prefer not to name the dealer at this time.
While they haven't at this point resolved the issue, they have stated that they are prepared to work to find a fix.
I am obviously reluctant to give them another shot at rectifying the problem, but I have paid for a service & feel they should fix their error.
Can't work out why they would even bother checking TBS at the first service if the customer hasn't made a complaint.
Still deciding which way to go with this.
