Just to add my two cents worth of hindsight to this. I opened upa visa debit account and linked it to my paypal. That way it stays all but empty, then when I need paypal I transfer cash into the account. That being said I if some internet thieving arsehole really wants your stuff the will find a way.
What country did the money go to?
