GSXR 1000 wont start

Ok its not my busa. My gsxr 1000 K5 wont start. The batt was flat (havent riden it in a while,ok along while prob 4 months), I charged it up, The batt has held a charge. When I hit the start button there is a rapid load clicking coming from the under the seat. On closer examination its the main fuse that is clicking. The fuse was good changed it any way. But its still doing it and doesnt even sound like its going to kick over. Any help would be awesome.
