Kev mine are now less than half the price they were when I got them. Still the best out there by far.

Ten times the light of any cheap arse LED's

If you had a problem with the HID's then there must have been something wrong with them, get a quality set not some crap from Egay, if your not confident with wiring get a auto lec to fit them.
