Appreciate all your replys. Here is the outcome. Had them installed yesterday
1) yes they are a bit ugly
2) yes they will damage the frame in a good crash but it is easy to have the insurance companies write a bike off these days
3) yes the kit is heavy
4) yes the bike is protected if it falls over, low speed
5) Busa can not cool itself as well as it used to. The kit is so near the cooling fans. It now consistently runs at a higher temperature
6) now torn about having Oggy knobs installed
7) remember people 'for every action there is a reaction'
I'll leave them on till the next service and make a decsion then.
