Well, I rang the boys at Mona Vale and got the message that its not possible to flash the busa ECU... maybe they meant they couldn't do it, but that's not what they said. I was told Suzuki made it too difficult.
To quote: "you need a power commander"...
So, without making an issue of it I said thanks and "goodbye".
Methinks I need to plan a trip to Queensland. But at this stage I'll think about my options.
Interesting, one well respected bike shop's mechanic told me not to worry if I get an Akropovic exhaust that the Busa will be okay without any additional work to the ECU. He certainly made the point don't try this with smaller engines.
