Thanks for the comments. In my 37 years of riding my luck is 'if I got em I'll never need em. If I don't got 'em, somehow through my fault or another's they would have come in handy' The smallest damage on the fairing will cost a bomb. Yes they are ugly but so is a scratched bike.
