No TRE needed with flashing and as for performance outcome ?
Correct fueling is correct fueling and it doesn't matter what means you use to obtain it. If it's correct A/F etc then the performance comes with it. It basically boils done to the minimal cost to gain the best and most benefits for your dollar. Flashing cannot and will not give you any more power or performance than any other means used to obtain correct fueling / tuning and set up ............... it just does it with a minimum amount of fuss basically.
