The word is not required would be a falesy .............. and to fit a system without a remap probably leads to less performance than before the sytem was fitted.
This "the word is " usually comes from bike shops that will sell and fit a system and don't have the means to tune so they say ................ it's not required.
Busas run rich in Oz then run even richer with a system and then that combined with a power commander fuel map thats built and based on US bikes = a mess as far as correct fuel mapping goes.
Rich or lean is not good as correct A/F ratio for given throttle and load conditions equates to a sweet smooth responsive bike to ride.
Not trying to flog anything here it's just the way it is
