You have to pay for good piracy now because more people are clued up.
easynews.com - then use http://secure.members.easynews.com/global
the other one I use is file servers and forums. So a person will post a song, album or discography, and links to the downloads on a given public server. This is pretty popular for bigger things like movies and games.
rapidshare is used a lot less now because of it's popularity so maybe try
filesonic.com, wupload.com or maybe even megashares...this method takes a bit more intelligence though. Use filestube.com for a pretty wide web based search of the forums posting what you want.
The easynews method is so easy, just log in, search, download. And you can create custom online zip files with collections of music, games, videos...etc
Then there's bit-torrents, which are free and popular. but if you're into hipster music that's hard to find you wont have much luck with bit torrents because they are entirely hosted by regular people.
Then filesharing p2p programs like limwire or kazaa and napster back in the day. these are great for one-off music tracks...but expect viruses if you're on windows. I remember being part of a couple of private DC++ servers (a filesharing program) and that REALLY kicked arse. So much shit on those but you need to be invited to private ones somehow. Public ones are OK, but same as typical firesharing programs - viruses and fakes and junk.
You can even choose IRC (chat rooms) and find a lot of shared stuff there, although it's kind of fiddly to search and use, and you have to find the right rooms for what you want.
If you want more detailed info (or help) on any of these just PM me, it's the least I could after what you've done for me. Cheers
