01Busa You will also need a Jacket (cordura is OK) and Gloves.
I once had a friend turned away cause he didnt have boots on too, He just went home and put his work boots on, they were fine with that.
How is this for rules for a Big Bore Shoot out?
STREET BIKES ONLY, so NO chassis/swingarm, and NO "real" engine mods (Air box, pipes, power commanders, etc is OK)
Also no power adders, such as turbo, NOS or super chargers.
I think maybe NO ANDRA licence holders too, some can run high 9's low 10's on stock Busa's. (we don't want to scare the competition off either)
We can have an entry fee of 5-10 dollars per rider and it will be a winner takes all prize.
Or a $20-$30 entry for teams.
The more I have thought about it the more I like the idea of 3 man teams, this will even the field out a bit as it will be worked as an average of the 3 racers times from each team.
eg; rider 1 has a 11.0, rider 2 has a 11.5, and racer 3 has a 11.3. The average time for the team is 11.3
OR
R 1 has 11.0, R2 has 11.5, R 3 has 11.3. Add the times together= 33.8 The lowest accumulated number for the team for 4 runs wins.
These are just some ideas I have been kicking around, let me know what you think, a couple of Black Birds are keen allready.
