I gave up with the bullshit excuses that were dribbling out of his mouth. I'll never set foot in there again!!!

A better choice for Dyno and engine work that is local to us is Phil Tainton Racing over on Stud Road.

What happened?

Booked in to have a PC5 supplied and fitted with 3 weeks notice given. Turned up on the day and he told me he did not have the PC5. Re-booked for following week, turned up and again was told he was waiting for the PC5 to come in that day. Gave me a loan bike and was told "come back tomorrow morning and it will all be done". Went back in the morning and was told "too busy to get onto it and not ready". Called the next day, "yep no probs, all done, came up good come in tomorrow to pick up". I turned up and "still not ready" (bike had not even been touched, except for my new busted mirror aparantly done accidently by a customer walking past the bike WTF!!). Called 2 days later and was told he'd ordered the PC3 instead and did I want that fitted. "WTF I asked, you told me you had the job already done". The reply was that he never said that. I told him I was in the middle of something and would call him back in 5min. Instead I jumped on the loan bike thrashed the crap out of it and went over to his shop and demanded my bike back.

Shit I had no idea.
Personally I had no dramas with his service but I'm naive...I could have been taken for a ride without knowing it.
Anyway it's in the past now, you've had your ecu flashed & that's better than a PC any day ;-)

Mate, I've heard a 50/50 mixed bag of responses about his services.
I can only go by my own dealings with him. I was willing to give him a shot and won't ever be going back.

But as you said, it's all obout the flash now, and I get 100% access to all the settings and can only blame myself when I give myself crap service Pi_thumbsup
