Purple and black with problems -- BULLSHIT. Ooops sorry mate I've got one of those and can not imagine anything less than perfection.
This sounds like a waranty issue. Take it to a dealer and ask them to reply with condition and probable cause in writing.
From there on you will have to deal with Suzuki. Expect them to reject it first time as this is standard for them. I suggest you talk with a couple of other members here who have had similar problems of late and quote their case history to Suzuki.
Give us a yell if you need a hand with wording and keep this post updated on progress.
