Actions at Parramatta have a special $399 for the pair. The bloke in service area recomends them.
A month ago you guys were trying them out. Could you please help me to decide.
Because i have gone to a few places and everybody mentions different type or brand????
any help would be great.
The SportSmarts are a 5 Star Tyre, as recommended by the UK Mag BIKE.
As far as I can see, these and the Bridgestone 023(5Star) and the Metzler M5 and the RoadSmarts run at the top of the heap for general all-round Road use.
For Track use, you might consider others but those would not last as long as the ones mentioned above.
At a rough guess according to what have already been mentioned by other posters,
it would seem that for distance the descending order might be,
023
RoadSmart
M5/SportSmart
but there would not be a huge amount in it.
For my use, I would prefer the RoadSmart (I currently have) to the SportSmart, but that is a personal choice.
Others to consider might be Road Attack II and Avon Ultra II which have also got great reviews.
For just plain unbeatable VALUE, one gentleman swears by Shinko Raven 009's who regularly gets 10K km out of them and who has done so for years(!)
