Deckson Rockhopper, Kawasaki MT75, Suzuki TM75, Yamaha YZ80B, Honda XR75, Yamaha IT 250, Suzuki TS250X, KTM400EXC, Suzuki VStrom 1000, Yamaha FZ1, Honda Blackbird, Suzuki K6 GSX1000R (never should have sold it!), Yamaha FJR1300, Kawasaki ZX14, Suzuki B-King, Suzuki Hayabusa.


3. What got you interested in riding?

My Dad, who was also a motorcyclist

4. At what age did you get your first motorbike? What happened to it?

12. Sold it to get another one.

5. What motorbike do you own now?

2010 Hayabusa

6. Do you think someone should have a good amount of experience before jumping on a motorbike that is over 500cc's?

Yes.


7. Do you know someone who lacked riding experience that has jumped onto a high powered bike and has had an accident?

Yes.


8. What safety equipment do you believe should be worn at all times when riding a motorbike?

Helmet, gloves, good jacket and pants, boots - BUT this should be left up to the individual rider's common sense.

9. Do you believe an experienced riders course would be effective for people just coming off of there P's?

Yes, and pre-P's as well.

10. What do you believe some of the dangers of riding high powered motorbikes are?

Over confidence
The red mist


11. Have you ever personally been in a motorbike accident? What happened? (Optional)

No, never on the road. Have fallen off many times on the dirt - but, that is part of the fun!

12. In your opinion and based on your experience what advice would you give someone aged between 18 to 25 thinking of purchasing a high powered bike?

Unless you have dirt experience - don't.

Start off on something small and cheap.

13. What are your top 5 riding tips in order of importance?

Concentrate 100% on the ride
Practice, practice, practice
If in doubt, slow down
Beware the red mist - do NOT get carried away and let your ambitions exceed your abilities.
Do not ride with people you do not know.
