Stator cover

Since my fall a few months ago have decided to finally replace the damaged stator cover with a woodcraft one. It sure looks stronger with a sacrificial piece of aluminum piece if I ever drop it again is there any secrets to changing the cover out? Chris

Wear some gloves mate . When the cover get's close to being on (inch away) the magnet's will rip the cover out of your hands & slam shut . If you have a bit of skin hanging over the edges when this happens it fukin hurts ,so be aware .Yes ,I found out the hard way .
