testing clutch switch ?

All fixed it was the stand switch
yesterday I pushed the switch in and out numerous times but nothing happened but today I actually turned/twisted it around as well and bingo she's a goer.
Does this mean it is on it's way out and should be replaced ?

Thank Maj for that i remembered he posted the problem up a few months back where would we be without these guys
