If I change the % setting on the healer it also changes the trip accuracy .Mine is set at minus 8.3 % & is pretty close according to a cop mate's radar gun .Trip meter can be checked byre tracing your exact route on google maps .

...though if you do any monos and burnouts, that's stuffed as well...
