Yes another problem with the busa 99. After getting everything sorted with the F1 and wiring last year.

Currently: (in short)

Riding the bike at 4K and under all good.
The problem exists after reving into 5,6,7+, then snapping the trottle closed.

(Full details)

I've ridin the bike a few times in the last week, with this problem being more evident each time. Riding the bike along, take it up to 6K (saying), then hold it at a steady rpm, The tacho, will drop to 0rpm, Or the other type of instance is if you are riding along at 6K say, then back the throttle off and snap it back open, then tacho drops to 0rpm,
** Along with this the engine seems to cut out, all other lights and electronics on the dash are fine. ** To recover from this = Ive had to pull the clutch in and give it a few short sharp twists of the throttle to get it back running again (its as if it has just ran outta fuel). All is fine, ride along smooth and all is ok, Try to repeat th above and it chucks a whammy.

The bike has had the list of things checked and serviced over the last 6 months.
- Fuel pump and hoses, etc, all striped and cleaned, fliter replaced. 8mnths
- New plugs and Yoshi box tune 8mnths
- Titanium Pipes fitted 6mnths
- New wiring harness and reg.rectifier 6mnths
- New battery 4 mnths

Not sure where to start looking.
1st idea - fuel pump?
2nd idea - throttle position sensor?
3rd idea - forum, scratch head??

Any help or thoughts on the situation would be apprciated.

Hi Dave
I could be wrong, but in my experience if the tacho starts to do random things its usually means its some kind of electrical gremlin.Hope this may help. Jim
