I've got a bro in law who does really fast Skylines- his car produces 900 horses on the ground. He and a mate were yakking with Busdriver and I (his mates Skyline makes 1013 horses on the ground). We were speaking about Brembo brakes, they both run them on their cars. When I suggested that we were looking at ceramic rotors for the Buses they both suggested that ceramic brakes take a lot of heat to work and that they disipate heat beautifully, making them great for the track and shocking for the road. Not enough heat to keep them operating for normal road use. I know fuckall about ceramic brakes and would appreciate anyone who has good working knowledge of them speaking up about what Nick and John had to say.

Ray? what are your thoughts about the Brake teck ceramics? Do they need lotsa heat to make them work?
