HID Electrics
#1
Since fitting a main beam HID when I first turn it on the fuel gauge and temp gauge jump and then freeze. Could this be caused by electro magnetic interference from the ballast resistors proximity to the instrument cluster. I have it located under the lhs fairing insert near the fuses. Low beam ballast I have on the other side attached to the air duct and causes no issues. Once I turn the bike off , restart its all good and works fine, until such time as its left off for a while, ie ride through a lit up area for ten mins then switch on, the fuel and temp guage jump up and then freeze, switch off restart alls good again. It doesn't affect the main beam light, that works fine regardless of what the gauges are doing

Cheers
Chris
