Rear brake line split on 05 model

My rear line developed a split not sure but have a sneaking suspicion that it may have beeen cause due to brake being kinked during tyre replacement but it was replaced under warranty. The bike had only 15000 ks on it and the guys at Actions had never heard of it before or since.
