Bloody typical "passing the ball" situation mate. From my experience in automotive industry I think the manufacturers responsibility ends with replacing defective part i.e. the rectifier even if other components got damaged. The rest is up to a dealer, so you have to have a nice

Maybe we should write a colective letter to Suzuki Australia (or even better Suzuki Japan) expressing our feelings about this. They pay more attention to such things because of the negative publicity it generates.
